Chesnok Red is a colorful type of garlic from the Purple Stripe family. It's flavor is robust without being overwhelmingly hot.
Each head/bulb contains 6-10 cloves in skins that feature red, purple, and pink tones. There are typically 6-8 bulbs per pound (typically 70-80 cloves per pound).
Grown by Midwest Heirloom Garlic — a farm in Afton, Minnesota (Zone 4b).
Stores for 4-6 months.

Planting Instructions
Plant at least 8" apart from other plants in late fall. Cover with straw through the winter. Harvest the following summer.
